A Discipleship Mandate

Lead Like Jesus is a discipleship ministry with a mandate to Follow the Leader who said,

“All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely, I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

Jesus’ plan for changing the world was to train and commission twelve men plus other followers. Our intentional focus has been to illuminate the timeless leadership modeled by Jesus for His first disciples and all those that follow in fulfilling their Kingdom purpose. The multiplication discipleship process is found in 2 Timothy 2:2

“And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable people who will also be qualified to teach others.”

Lead Like Jesus wants everyone, everywhere to be impacted by someone who leads like Jesus. Over the past twenty five years Lead Like Jesus has been dedicated to inspiring and equipping people to Lead like Jesus through the development of Jesus centered, leader focused, training programs and resources. The movement of Lead Like Jesus has influenced the thinking, behavior and development of hundreds of thousands of leaders, globally. Now these leaders are impacting their spheres of influence, spreading the Good News as they follow the Leader.

A LEADER WHO FOLLOWS THE LEADER

Praying for God’s leadership in this search and in this ministry, the Board is looking to identify a President | CEO who is a committed believer in Jesus as Lord and Savior and looks to Jesus as the personal and ultimate model of leadership as it is revealed in Scripture. Jesus called them together and said, “You know that the rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and their high officials exercise authority over them. Not so with you. Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first must be your slave – just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.” Matthew 20:25-28 (emphasis added)

A SERVANT TO ALL

The President | CEO must serve the ministry by establishing an irresistible vision that is achieved through a dependency on God and the guidance of the board. The President | CEO should be able to draw on a deep well of personal experience, knowledge, and holy habits. God-honoring excellence should permeate the areas of innovation, administration, and communication.

Statement of Faith

We believe that the Bible is God’s verbally inspired, complete written revelation to mankind.
