What do you need today in order to do what God has called you to do? Patience beyond human capacity; physical and emotional energy; endurance, a sense of God’s presence, confidence that He is leading the way—all of these and more are available to us as His people. Do you trust that He will meet your need? Take these moments to receive from Him all that He longs to give you, then confidently and expectantly rise to meet the day.
“Which of you, if your son asks for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him!”—Matthew 7:9-11
