Planning has a place in leadership, along with making decisions and moving forward. As servant leaders, we are wise to seek God’s leadership in reflecting on the challenges and choices in front of us. We need to be open to the insights that come from Him, and discerning as to how and when He is directing us to take action. Is it time for you to seek His counsel, or is it time to step out in faith?
That night Paul had a vision: A man from Macedonia in northern Greece was standing there, pleading with him, “Come over to Macedonia and help us!” So we* decided to leave for Macedonia at once, having concluded that God was calling us to preach the Good News there.—Acts 16:9-10
Prayer: God, where do I need to get moving today? Keep me seeking Your perspective and keep me listening for your direction. Let me rise to the challenge of living this day for You. In Jesus’ name, amen.
