The habits of Lead Like Jesus are drawn from the life of Jesus. The disciples learned about Scripture by listening to Jesus’ teaching; they learned to pray by listening to Him pray and asking Him to teach them to pray. They learned to prioritize spending time with God by His example. They learned to abide in God’s unconditional love as they experienced Jesus’ love for them, and how to live in trusting relationships as they lived life together with Him and one another.
Have nothing to do with godless myths and old wives’ tales; rather, train yourself to be godly. For physical training is of some value, but godliness has value for all things, holding promise for both the present life and the life to come.—1 Timothy 4:7-8
Prayer: Jesus, please train me in living life the way You lived. Teach me to seek the Father; shape my heart, head, hands, and habits. Make me like You, I pray in Your name, amen.
