Words are powerful. God spoke, and the universe was created. Jesus, the Living Word, spoke through His life, teaching, death, and resurrection, bringing life to all who trust in Him. Scripture, the Word of God, continues to speak today, revealing the way to eternal life. God gave Moses the words of blessing for the priests to speak over the Israelites. As His priests and servants, what words will you use to bless others today?
“The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace.”—Numbers 6:24-26
Prayer: Jesus, Your words spoke forgiveness to those who crucified You, blessing to children, healing and strength to the hurting, and correction and encouragement to Your disciples. May my words today bless, strengthen and encourage those whom I meet, and most of all, point them to You. I ask in Your name, Amen.
