God called Abram to trust Him and follow Him into the unknown, promising that He would far exceed Abram’s hope for the future. As Abram trusted and followed God, God changed him into Abraham, a person whose life and legacy were transformed by God’s power. Do you want God to do the same for you?
He took him outside and said, “Look up at the sky and count the stars—if indeed you can count them.” Then he said to him, “So shall your offspring be.” Abram believed the Lord, and he credited it to him as righteousness.—Genesis 15:5-6
Prayer: Lord, how amazing that I am part of the fulfillment of Your promise to Abram. You have called me into the great family of faith, those who believe in Christ Jesus and are counted righteous by faith. Transform my life, leadership, and legacy as I trust and follow Jesus, in whose name I pray, Amen.
