Certain results are accomplished only by intentional, focused prayer. Actually, Jesus said that at times both prayer and fasting were required. Leading like Jesus means not just wishing that things would change, but seeking God for the change He wants to bring about and the role He has for us to play in leading change. Prayer: Lord, I see the importance of prayer in Your life, and I listen as You teach Your disciples to pray. I am emboldened to keep asking You for what I need as a servant leader. I believe that You long to hear me ask You what You want to do and how You want to use me. So I pray today, and I wait to hear what You will say as I pray in Jesus’ name, Amen.
