How are you praying for those you lead? Family, friends, co-workers, ministry partners? As servant leaders, we have the privilege of bringing people into God’s presence through prayer. The prayers in Scripture can guide us in praying for God’s purposes to be fulfilled in their lives. Who will you pray for today?
And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless for the day of Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ—to the glory and praise of God.—Philippians 1:9-11
Prayer: Father, I pray that You will remind me to faithfully pray for the people in my life. Open my eyes to how You are at work in them. May they and I grow more like Jesus as we follow Him. Help us to honor and serve one another as we live and work together. I pray in Jesus’ name, Amen.
