Who is your life all about? Jesus was clear that He came to bring glory to the Father. He openly praised God. He gave God credit for all the good that He was able to accomplish. He poured Himself into the lives of those He met for their benefit, not His own. He met challenges by depending on His Father as a child depends on their parents. How do you live? When others seek to exalt you, how do you respond?
“Why do you call me good?” Jesus answered. “No one is good—except God alone.“—Matthew 10:18
Prayer: Father, all that I am and have is because of You. You created us, You sustain us, and You hold the future. Give me opportunities to point others to You through my actions and words today, I pray. I want You to be glorified through my life. This I ask in Jesus’ name, Amen.
