What are you known for? Those around Joseph, whether or not they were God-followers, recognized that God was at work through him. His words had a ring of truth that caused them to acknowledge God’s power. Through Joseph, even Pharaoh exalted God. The ultimate aim of leading like Jesus is to make Jesus known to the world. How does God want to use you to bring others to know Him?
So Pharaoh asked them, “Can we find anyone like this man, one in whom is the spirit of God?”—Genesis 41:38
Prayer: God, I want others to recognize Your greatness through my life. Joseph’s life reminds me that I don’t need ideal circumstances to make You known, I simply need to be faithful in each situation that comes my way. May others sense Your Spirit at work and come to know You as I live and lead like Jesus today. I ask in His name, Amen.
