Who do you know who is wise? Wisdom is one of those leadership qualities that shines through in a person’s life, reflecting a person yielded to God’s authority. Wisdom is birthed in humility and builds on knowledge, applying God’s truth to real life. Wisdom admits that we don’t know, but God does, and we’re going to follow His lead. Would others call you wise?
Who is wise and understanding among you? Let them show it by their good life, by deeds done in the humility that comes from wisdom.—James 3:13
Prayer: God of wisdom and Spirit of truth, guide me today. May my actions and attitudes reveal that I am humbly following Your wisdom, not the world’s way. Slow me down, remind me to value people, and to live a life that points to You, not myself. May I grow in wisdom, reflecting Your wisdom to others. I humbly ask in Jesus’ name, amen.
