Where do you turn when you need help? Your answer is important. Who, or what, we turn to reflects something about our values and what drives our lives. It indicates who or what we worship, and where we find our ultimate security. Jesus found His security in His Father, to whom He freely and frequently turned for help. The Father longs to have the same kind of relationship with you. Where do you need help? To whom will you turn?
“This is what the Lord says, he who made the earth, the Lord who formed it and established it—the Lord is his name: ‘Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.’” —Jeremiah 33:2-3
Prayer: Lord, just as You invited Jeremiah to call to You, Jesus told us that we can call to You in His name. We need Your encouragement and Your guidance as we lead Your people. In Jesus’ name we pray, amen.
