Values flow from what our hearts desire, shape our thinking, and come to life in our decisions and actions. They support our leadership decisions on a moment-by-moment basis. We may not even be consciously aware of the values by which we are living. Without identifying and evaluating our values, the world’s values can begin to edge out God’s values in our thinking. What are your top values? How closely do they reflect God’s values? How are they impacting your life and leadership?
The Pharisees, who loved money, heard all this and were sneering at Jesus. He said to them, “You are the ones who justify yourselves in the eyes of others, but God knows your hearts. What people value highly is  detestable in God’s sight.”—Luke 16:14-15
Prayer: Lord, transform my heart to value what You value. Point out where my values do not align with Yours. Reshape my heart, head, hands, and habits to be like Jesus. In His name I pray, amen.
