Consider how intent God is on communicating with us. He uses every method available to Him—His written Word, Jesus the Living Word, His ever-present and active Spirit who reveals Jesus, and the church as the body of Christ—to communicate His message. As leaders of our families and in our workplaces and ministries, do we take time to hear His message? Does our leadership reflect the same commitment to communicating as His?
In the past God spoke to our ancestors through the prophets at many times and in various ways, but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom also he made the universe.—Hebrews 1:1-2
Prayer: God, thank You for giving Your all to communicate with us. Open our ears to what You are saying so that our lives and our words will be aligned with Yours. We ask in Jesus’ name, amen.
