Some days are harder than others. They either start out that way, or they become harder as the day goes on. You know the days, the ones where it seems we struggle more than usual to live, love, and lead like Jesus. It’s good to remember at these times that Jesus is near, ready to respond to our call for help. His forgiveness and renewal are always available. Don’t forget that!
But when he saw the wind, he was afraid and, beginning to sink, cried out, “Lord, save me!” Immediately Jesus reached out his hand and caught him. “You of little faith,” he said, “why did you doubt?”—Matthew 14:30, 31Prayer: Lord, thank You for always being within arm’s reach. Thank You for being a God of forgiveness and renewal, support and encouragement. Give me the confidence to step out in faith, the humility to call for help, and the faith to trust You to empower me to live for You. In Your name I pray, Amen.
