When disappointment in yourself as a person and as a leader overwhelms you, turn your focus to God, to the One whom you long to please. Find hope in His forgiveness and grace to enable you to move forward in His power. Where do you need to surrender anew to God, trusting Him to show you the way forward?
I trust in you; do not let me be put to shame, nor let my enemies triumph over me. No one who hopes in you
will ever be put to shame, but shame will come on those who are treacherous without cause.—Psalm 25:2-3
Prayer: O Lord, I cry out to You today, seeking to see myself as You see me. My hope is in You. Where I have disappointed myself and You, forgive me. Where I have disappointed others, give me the humility and honesty to apologize and seek forgiveness from them. I place my hope in Your grace and transforming power. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.
