Who do you need to forgive? What is the first name that comes to mind? Unforgiveness, resentment, and bitterness find their foothold quietly, secretly, sometimes even imperceptibly, in hearts. Pride and fear, two familiar enemies, flourish, and your relationship with God suffers, along with your relationships with others. Who do you need to forgive today so that God can forgive you?

Prayer: Father, I confess that I need Your forgiveness. Search my heart for strongholds of unforgiveness, fear and pride. Show me where, and how, I need to forgive. Fill me with an awareness of Your forgiveness, cleansing, and transformation, and help me pass that on to others. In Jesus’ name, who brought me forgiveness, I pray, Amen.
