The weight of past failure can cling to us, muddying our thinking, obscuring the future, and sapping our motivation and confidence. God does not intend for the past to hinder us. Prayer: O Lord, what relief is found in confession, and forgiveness, and fresh starts. Thank You for ongoing forgiveness and restoration. Thank You for releasing us from the guilt of our sin. Renew every part of us—heart, head, hands, and habits—to serve You today, we ask in Jesus’ name, amen.
