What is on your calendar today? What deadlines are you facing? What appointments are on your calendar? What if you used your calendar as a guide for your prayer time today? As you spend time in solitude, walk through your day with God. Pray for the conversation you will have, the opportunities God will bring your way, the challenges you anticipate. Let Him prepare you for today’s opportunities to lead like Jesus.
Be wise in the way you act toward outsiders; make the most of every opportunity. Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone.—Colossians 4:5-6
Prayer: I want to see my calendar as a reflection of Your calendar, filled with God-appointments. Show me how to represent You well, and the opportunities You are bringing together for me to influence others for Jesus’ sake. It is in His name I pray, amen.
