No matter what the circumstances may look like at this moment, the testimony of Scripture is that there is hope. Jesus’ resurrection is proof that rings through the millennia. He has overcome, and He is alive. He is present for you today. God’s Spirit is your counselor. Nothing can separate you from Him. God is for you. What difference does knowing this make in your life today?
What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? —Romans 8:31
Prayer: God, our God, who raised Jesus from death to life, who pours out Your Spirit on Your people, thank You that Jesus is present with me today. You know the challenges that I face, the ones that would cause me to act out of pride and fear. But in You I have hope. I can freely, humbly, and confidently move into this day, aware of Your presence and focused on serving others. In Jesus’ name I pray, amen.
