Jesus’ incarnation reveals the heart of God. It shows us the depth of God’s love and passion for the world. God gave Himself to us in Jesus, to be with us, to save us, and to give us life. In the same way, He calls us to give ourselves in return, first to Him, and then to the world in His name. How will we reveal the heart of God today?
Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others. —Philippians 2:3-4
Prayer: God, thank You for making a way for us to know You through Jesus. As we interact with others, may they catch a glimpse of Jesus and experience a touch of Your love. Let us, like Him, look to the interests of others as He transforms us to lead in His name, amen.
