Leading like Jesus isn’t limited to the church setting. As the Creator and Lord of life, Jesus’ life of servant leadership stretched from synagogue leaders to family, friends, beggars, tax collectors, and Roman officials. His redefinition of servant leadership didn’t contain any qualifications or limitations. He really intends for me and you to influence the thinking, behavior, and development of every person who comes across our path.
The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him. He is before all things, and in him all things hold together.—Colossians 1:15-17
Prayer: Jesus, open my eyes to the people with whom I come in contact today, and show me how to serve them in Your name. Don’t let me limit what You want to do through me. I pray in Your name, Amen.
