Each step along a path provides an increasingly clearer perspective on your surroundings. The past is put into perspective – things that seem blurry from a distance come into sharper focus as you move toward them. Joy comes from walking the path in the presence of One who loves you and promises always to be with you, and who is Himself “the way, and the truth, and the life” (John 14:6). Where is Jesus taking you on the path of life?
You make known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand.—Psalm 16:11
Prayer: Jesus, how good it is to be Your companion as I journey through life. Show me the path of life today, fill me with joy in Your presence, and lead me into the future You have planned. Help me to live, love, and lead like You as we walk together today. I pray in Your name, Amen.
