Who do you look to for wise counsel? Do you believe that God wants to speak to you about the challenges you face today? How do you put yourself in a position to hear His guidance? Jesus evidently knew Scripture well. On a moment’s notice, under severe strain, He was able to meet temptation with wisdom from God’s Word. His thinking was saturated with Scriptural principles and truths. When the time came, Scripture provided the guidance He needed. What about you?

Prayer: Lord, thank You for preserving Your Word so that I can read it and meditate on it today. Thank You that in Scripture I find wisdom for life, and that I can move forward with confidence when I live in the light of Your truth. Broaden my understanding as I meditate on Your Word, I pray in Jesus’ name, Amen.
