To pray like Jesus starts by getting to know Jesus. We need to spend time with Him, listening to His heartbeat, allowing our hearts to come into sync with His heart; listening to His words, training our minds to think like He thinks and our lips to speak words that He speaks. Prayer: Jesus, there are so many things buzzing around in my mind right now. Quiet my thoughts so that I can hear Your voice. I don’t want the words “in Jesus’ name” to be a tagline to my prayers. I want to be Your prayer partner, praying alongside You for the Father’s kingdom and glory. In Your powerful name I pray, Amen.
