Out for a walk, some children surge ahead of their parents, while others must be pulled forward step-by-step. As leaders, how do we respond to God’s initiative and leadership in our lives? Do we drag our feet? Do we try to run ahead of Him? Scripture reminds us that as the Lord is working out His plan in the world, He directs every step that His people take. Let’s keep in step with Him and His plan, trusting Him to lead us well.
 The Lord directs the steps of the godly. He delights in every detail of their lives. Though they stumble,   they will never fall, for the Lord holds them by the hand. —Psalm 37:23-24 (NLT)
 Prayer: Lord, thank You for the confidence that comes from knowing You direct my steps. Thank You for being present to steady me when I stumble and to strengthen me when the way is hard. Where are we going today, Lord? Keep me in step with You, I humbly pray in Jesus’ name, amen.
