What does testing look like for you? God uses adversity to transform our character to be more like Jesus. Today, when a challenge, difficult person, or forced change comes your way, take time to examine your response. What does your response reveal? How does God want to transform you into the image of Christ through this experience? What can you do to give Him greater access to your heart, head, hands, and habits?
The crucible for silver and the furnace for gold, but the Lord tests the heart.—Proverbs 17:3
Prayer: Lord, You know the tests that will come to me today, the places where I will have a choice to make about my attitude and actions, my thoughts and my words. Prepare me now through our time together so that when I am faced with adversity, however it comes, I will reflect Jesus more clearly to those around me. I ask this in the name of Jesus, who reflected You so clearly, amen.
