Walking as Jesus did is to walk in love. He left heaven out of love for us, to show us the way to the Father. He lived among us, showing us what love for the Father looked like. He loved us, bringing healing and forgiveness, and offering reconciliation with God. He restored our hope and taught us how to live in love. How will you follow His example and walk in love today?
Follow God’s example, therefore, as dearly loved children and walk in the way of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.—Ephesians 5:1-2
Prayer: Jesus, who can I love today as You loved me? I know the opportunities will be all around me. Open my eyes and show me how I can follow Your example, giving myself away as You did, and walking in love today. I pray in Your name, Amen.
