As the early disciples spoke about Jesus, the message flowed from their personal experience of being transformed by Jesus’ unconditional love and forgiveness. The power of the Holy Spirit to transform ordinary people into spiritual leaders was evident in the early church. How is the Spirit’s transforming power evident in your leadership?
My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit’s power, so that your faith might not rest on human wisdom, but on God’s power.—1 Corinthians 2:4-5
 
Prayer: Lord, I don’t want my message to be just words, true though they might be. I want others to see a living, breathing example of Your Spirit’s power to transform lives in me. May they come into contact with You, Lord Jesus, and discover the difference You can make in their lives. In Your name I pray, Amen.
