Where are you in the process of becoming a leader like Jesus? Are you an enthusiastic beginner, or have you discovered the challenges (even discouragement) of trying to put His leadership principles into practice? Are you becoming increasingly capable at influencing the thinking, behavior, and development of others? Our interactions with others will shape their understanding of what it means to lead with humility and confidence. Who may be trying to follow your example as a leader? When they look at you do they see a living example of someone who is learning to lead like Jesus?
Join together in following my example, brothers and sisters, and just as you have us as a model, keep your eyes on those who live as we do.—Philippians 3:17
Prayer: Jesus, I want people to see someone who is following Your example when they look at me. I want to be a living example of what it means to lead like You. Keep growing me, I pray in Your name, amen.
