Jesus came to the earth because of God’s great love for the world. He called His disciples to join Him in serving others with compassion and grace. God continues to use servant leaders today to implement His vision to restore the world. How is His compassion and grace transforming your leadership today? Who are you serving in His name?
When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.”—Matthew 9:36-38
Prayer: Lord, Your compassion and grace has transformed my life. Let me come alongside others at their point of need in the same way that You continually and compassionately meet me at my point of need. May others sense Your compassion and grace as I serve them in Your name, amen.
