Crowds were part of the backdrop of Jesus’ life and ministry. Everywhere He went, people gathered. As He ministered, people watched. They saw His actions, they heard His words. Isn’t this true of our lives as well? As we move through our day, others are paying attention to us. We never know when, where, or how God will use our influence. Keep your head about you today. People are watching your example as a servant leadership.
As Jesus and his disciples were leaving Jericho, a large crowd followed him. —Matthew 20:29
Prayer: Jesus, who will be watching me today? What will they see of You in my words and actions, my tone of voice and the way I treat others? Will they want to be more like me, and therefore will they become more like You? Will they see a servant in action? Let it be so, I ask in Your name, amen.
