Do you tend to worry about whether you have enough faith for God to use you? Where does this concern originate in people? Is it fear, or pride? Either way, the focus is on us, instead of on God. The servant leader understands that accomplishing God-sized tasks involves stepping out of our comfort zones. God’s work consists of God’s Spirit working to accomplish God’s purposes through God’s people. Notice the common denominator? Today, let’s keep our eyes on God, not on ourselves, and see what He will do.

For from him and through him and for him are all things. To him be the glory forever! Amen. —  Romans 11:36

Prayer: God, You are worthy of all the credit, honor and glory, for You are our Creator, our sustainer, and the One who empowers us. Today, may we be God-centered in our thinking and attitudes, and God-focused in our interactions with others. Open our eyes to Your presence and movement in Your world. All glory to You, Father, in Jesus’ name, amen.
