In line with God’s design and the good works which He created for you to do, God is working to orchestrate everything in your life to accomplish His good purpose. His stated outcome is that you will be conformed to the image of His Son so that others will see Jesus in and through you. How does He want to you to be more like Jesus today?
And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters.—Romans 8:28-29
Prayer: God, make me more like Jesus today. Let me trust Your good purpose, especially when You use challenging circumstances or people to shape my character. I take confidence in knowing that Your purpose is good even when the journey is hard. In Jesus’ name I pray, amen.
