What keeps you going when the road of servant leadership is hard? What fills your thoughts when you are discouraged? The Psalmist tells us that those who delight in God’s law, in God’s truth, and meditate on it, will find refreshment and nourishment for the long haul. Those who turn their thoughts toward Him, God blesses. Those who look to Him will find life and strength to keep going. What will fill your thoughts today?

Prayer: Lord, shield my thoughts from discouragement and the temptation to abandon Your path of servant leadership and turn to worldly leadership methods of power and control. You have called me to serve others, following Jesus’ example, even when it is hard. I want to be found walking in Your way. Strengthen my mind with Your Word so that today I can lead like Jesus, in whose Name I pray, Amen.
