Is God completely trustworthy? This is an important question for leaders who follow Jesus’ example. Can God be trusted, once and for all, as well as in the changing circumstances of each day? Can we trust God to show us the way forward as we humbly depend on Him? Is He worthy of our confidence? If so, we can confidently follow His lead, and we can depend on Him to accomplish His purposes as we humble ourselves to serve others. Do you trust Him? Will you trust Him today?
This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all.—1 John 1:5
Prayer: God, I am reassured by John’s testimony that, yes, You are completely trustworthy. Not one shred of darkness exists in You. Because You are totally trustworthy, today I can humbly and confidently place my trust in You as my leader and my guide. In Jesus’ name I pray, amen.
