The alarm clock rings, the sun comes up. This new day is filled with God-shaped possibilities and opportunities. Some days we greet the morning with excitement, eager to get moving. Other days we awake knowing, or even dreading, the challenges ahead. Whatever your day holds, God has faithfully sustained you through the night and walks with you into your day. He is at work in and around you to accomplish His purposes. Quiet your soul and allow His perspective to permeate Your thinking.
Show me your ways, Lord, teach me your paths. Guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long.—Psalm 25:4-5
Prayer: God my Savior, this day belongs to You. As I seek You now, awaken me to Your presence and power. Give me Your perspective. Fill my heart with hope. Guide me in Your ways for Your purposes. I ask in Jesus’ name, amen.
