At times as leaders, we may get tired of repeating the same things to people around us. Children who don’t seem to pay attention; employees, volunteers, church or family members who are resistant to the direction we’re going; friends who keep making bad choices for their lives. Just as we are about to give up, those around us may just be realizing how important these things are to You, to us, and perhaps, to them. Keep us faithful.
She speaks with wisdom, and faithful instruction is on her tongue.—Proverbs 31:26
Prayer: Lord, when the days are long and I don’t see change happening, remind me to stay faithful to You and to following Jesus’ model of leadership. Give me words of wisdom to speak; keep me from speaking out of frustration. Weed out anything in my life that contradicts Your message of humility, confidence, and serving in Jesus’ name. I ask in His name, amen.
