Before His encounter with the risen Christ, Paul already exhibited an exemplary zeal and commitment to pursuing leadership excellence according to the world’s standards. He had the highest education and credentials. He networked with the top names of his day. He was achieving all of his goals, but none of God’s. Meeting Jesus changed everything in Paul’s life. He was never the same. What about you?

Then [Paul] asked, “Who are you, Lord?” “I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting,” the Lord replied. “Now get up and stand on your feet. I have appeared to you to appoint you as a servant and as a witness of what you have seen and will see of me.”—Acts 26:15-16

Prayer: Jesus, change me. Change my vision of the future; change my goals, my values, and my purpose in life so that I align with You. Don’t leave me like You found me. Make me a servant and witness to You, the risen Lord, in whose name I pray, Amen.
