What keeps you from asking other people for help? Is it pride, not wanting others to think you need help? Is it fear that people might judge or reject you? God does not intend for us to isolate ourselves; Jesus Himself developed close earthly relationships with His disciples, who then did the same in the early church. True Christian community and fellowship is characterized by sharing one another’s burdens. Who can you ask for prayerful and wise support in the leadership challenges facing you?

Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ. —Galatians 6:2

Prayer: God, thank You for brothers and sisters in Christ who are on this transformational journey with me. Help me to humbly ask for help when I need it, especially for the wisdom and courage to live and lead like Jesus. I want to exalt You in the challenges that face me as a leader. In Jesus’ name I pray, amen.
