What stirs you to action? Is it injustice? The Spirit’s prompting? A call for help? Becoming aware of how you could make a difference? Seeing an opportunity? The Lord stirs the hearts of His people to become involved with Him in making a difference in the world. Where and how is He stirring you to action today?
Then the family heads of Judah and Benjamin, and the priests and Levites—everyone whose heart God had moved—prepared to go up and build the house of the Lord in Jerusalem.—Ezra 1:5
Prayer: Lord, keep my heart open and sensitive to Your Spirit’s prompting. I want to follow Your lead, not my own impulses, as I move through life. Show me where You are at work, and stir my heart to follow You. In Jesus’ name I pray, amen.
